What We Should All Take Away From the Death of Whitney Houston

First - I owe an apology for the length of time since my last BLOG post.  No excuses - wasn't feeling inspired, got lazy about seeking inspiration. The recent news of the death of Whitney Houston has gotten me thinking. In the days after her passing, social media sites were flooded with posts about the late pop icon.  People were overwhelmed with grief and were outspoken about their feelings for her.  They hailed her as the greatest pop star of all time, a gift from above, a connection to religion, a tragic loss, the list goes on. The question this raises for me: If you loved her so much, and you thought she was so special, perhaps, if you had taken the time to post all of these wonderful things about her a few days, weeks, months or years earlier, the woman could still be alive.
